On the 13th of February 2018 the 2nd LIREQA Project team meeting took place in Barcelona, Spain, kindly hosted by AQU Catalunya.
The participants included the project administrator SKVC, advisory group members - EUA (European University Association) and ESU (European Students' Union), NARIC partners - Nuffic (the Netherlands), NOKUT (Norway), and AIC (Latvia), non-NARIC partners - CTI (France), ENQA (Belgium), ANECA (Spain), UNIBASQ (Spain), and AQU Catalunya (Spain).
The project is focused on linking academic recognition and quality assurance. The main objectives of the meeting included:
- an overview of the status quo and the remaining project activities;
- discussion of the preliminary results of the surveys of ENIC/NARIC offices, higher education institutions, and quality assurance agencies;
- drafting relevant recommendations;
- agreement on further division of work and consultations with the Advisory Group.
