On April 12, 2018 the Academic Information Centre (Latvia) together with SKVC (Lithuania) within the framework of the ESF project “Support for meeting the requirements set for the EQAR Agency” No. 8.2.4.0/15/I/001, organised expert training entitled “Higher Education Quality Assurance”.
During the first day of the training, experts were given theoretical insight into the accreditation and licensing process, the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG-2015) and their application in the review process, as well as principles of experts’ work. During the training event, Ms Nora Skaburskienė, Director of the Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) covered the above mentioned topics at length, also shared Lithuanian experience in expert training. In total 82 participants attended, including 14 representatives of Student Union of Latvia (LSA) and 8 representatives from Employers' Confederation of Latvia (LDDK). The training took place in Riga, Latvia.
